In 5 minutes you could whip up these delicious protein energy balls, ideal as a post-workout snack for packing on lean muscle. Oh and they're totally vegan!
Store them in the fridge & snack on them when you are hungry - at home, work or immediately after your workout while you are still at the gym!
- 1¼ cup of quick cook oats
- ¼ cup of coconut flakes
- ½ cup of vanilla protein powder
- ¼ cup of coconut flour
- ⅓ cup of maple syrup
- ½ cup of almond butter
- 1 tbsp. Chia seeds
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- ½ cup of mini chocolate chips
- hemp seeds (optional)
- Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix together well. Leave in the fridge for 30 minutes. Roll into balls and set on a plate lined with parchment paper. Optional to roll each ball in hemp seeds. Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
