Toned Abs Using Resistance Loop Bands

MIni Loop Bands or Resistance Bands are an amazing way of building a 6 pack or toning your core. These exercises will strengthen your abs and build strong core stability.

We advise using latex resistance bands or mini loop bands for these exercises, which can be found in our Core Bundle. This product also includes core exercise sliders for intermediate core and abs exercises.

This workout will take under 15 minutes and you can do it at home or in the gym. Pick 2-3 of these killer abs exercise developed by our personal trainer Dejan.

1. Oblique Crunch Abduction - Lying on your side place the mini band around your ankles. In one movement, crunch your body upward and raise your outside leg.

Complete 12-15 reps each for 3 sets

2. Lying Knee Raises - Lie on the floor with your arms straight to support your body. Raise one knee at a time toward your chest. Optional: To make harder, try to keep both legs off the floor at all times.

Complete 14-16 reps for 3 sets

3. Single Leg Crunch - Lie on your side and using the outside leg, drive your knee towards your chest. Support head with your arm if needed.

Complete 15 reps for 3 sets each side

4. Lateral Climber - Hold a low plank position so that you are supporting your bodyweight on your forearms and toes. Maintaining a straight back, drive one knee towards your elbow. Alternate sides each rep.

Complete 14-16 reps for 3 sets

5. Band Bicycles - Lie on the floor and place your hands on your ears. Crunch your body diagonally so that your right elbow rotates towards your left knee. Raise your left knee at the same time as your upper body is raised as shown in picture 1 below. Immediately alternate sides. Optional: Keep legs off the floor throughout to make harder.

Complete 16-24 reps for 3 sets
